Here are the steps to repairing plastic and aluminum surfaces:
For repairs on plastic/aluminum surfaces, we suggest using a priming coat of MagicEzy Mega Fusion before applying either MagicEzy Hairline Fix or 9 Second Chip Fix. Mega Fusion will penetrate into the pores of the surface to create even more bond and strength.
STEP 1
Clean the area to be repaired with soapy water. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry thoroughly.
STEP 2
Apply a priming coat of MagicEzy Mega Fusion, ensuring the damaged area is completely covered with a thin layer. Set with a hairdryer for 2 minutes and let stand for approximately 2 hours.
STEP 3
Once the Mega Fusion has dried, apply a top coat of either 9 Second Chip Fix, Hairline Fix or both depending on the finish you require.
Note: The 9 Second Chip Fix is used to fill holes or any chips that are deeper than 6mm. The Hairline Fix, on the other hand, is used to color over the top of it. The 9 Second Chip Fix is totally compatible with Hairline Fix and is super strong for structural durability.
